Shh…Here’s a Sneak Peak into Our Newest Issue!

Hello fellow readers on the Internet! We have some very good news for you! As I type this out from New Jersey, our editor-in-chief Daniel Bourne is hard at work with Mr. David Weisenberg of the Wooster Book Company, our brilliant designer, putting together the newest double volume – Issue 52/ 53 – of our own, Artful Dodge! Having helped with it for two years now, I can personally guarantee that this issue is going to be brilliant. We have some wonderful art work, an exclusive interview with poet, essayist, and professor Brian Turner, and as usual, an excellent selection of poems, prose, and translations.

In addition, as followers of the Dodge might know and remember, we also publish some of the winning works from AWP Intro Journals Project, a literary competition organized by the Association of Writers & Writing Programs. This time around, Artful Dodge 52/53 will be featuring the winning poem from the 2015 Intro Journals Project, “To Delete, Press Seven” by Joshua Flaccavento of SUNY Buffalo. And guess what? You can listen to Mr. Flaccavento’s reading of the winning poem RIGHT HERE!

Don’t forget to pre-order your own copy of the Dodge, at no additional cost! Details here.

Happy reading,

Ananya Shrestha
Asst. Editor
